The face of Modesto youth soccer is changing. AJAX United is embracing the demand for high level training for the competitive players of tomorrow. The solution is the AJAX United Youth Academy, which is focused on youth, ages 5-9. The Academy offers unparalleled coaching, opportunities to train with the best in their age group, and even the chance to compete at a high level on a consistent basis. The Academy is open to all registered MYSA soccer players age 5-9.
AJAX United Youth Academy is providing a unique opportunity to the soccer players of Modesto. Some of the Central Valley’s best coaches are involved in the Academy, spending one-on-one time with players, ensuring they learn proper technique and aspects of the game rarely addressed at the recreational level. The Academy is designed not only for players who excel in their age group, but also for players looking to get that extra bit of training that will enable them to rise to the top.
The mission of AJAX United Youth Academy is to provide a fun, competitive environment where children will gain a passion for the game and be challenged to improve technically, physically, and mentally. Technical skills being worked on include: passing, shooting, dribbling, and trick moves. All practices will include a technical area of focus, one vs one, and small-sided games (up to 4 vs 4).
We will be offering three sessions throughout the year, Fall, Spring, & Summer. Each session will consist of eight weeks of practice, one time per week.
